Really good take on the whole AI debate! I was looking at a couple of indie book covers, because they looked nice in thumbnail. But up close, they were these hideous DAZ3D bodies with real faces photoshopped onto the bodies. They looked like really bad videogame characters. I recoiled in horror. People put that stuff on their books, but cry foul about AI art? Dude, we've been making the computers make ugly cover art for way longer than Midjourney has been doing it. The only difference is that AI art is all public domain, so using it for commercial purposes gets a little shaky, legally.
