A chilling read as I see too much of Marty in me. Marketing note: I had this book on my wishlist for a long time. Reading this got me to pull the trigger.

I'd read this last year but, like a fairytale with an important lesson in it, it drew me right back in. This feels like a pretty accurate forecast. In fact you influenced my life perspective after that first read, because I now consider aspects of our society as they would be perceived by somebody 30+ years away on either end. This actually filters some things: I no longer watch news or almost any film or television, I eat mostly animal products with some fruit and fermented veggies, I no longer go to the gym but instead carry heavy weights for 5-15 minutes. Many other things because...why do things only because they are modern? Instead, strive to do things that make sense. Fake information, fake food, and fake exercise seem strange.
